The Association of Forensic Document Examiners [USA] was formed in
1986 as
a professional organization for forensic document examiners. Membership
has since expanded to include students of document examination and
professionals in allied fields. Our original goals were to provide
quality continuing education, promote research within the field,
establish a board certification program, and publish a journal devoted
exclusively to document examination. We accomplished these goals and we
